Ultra Bright Headlamp

Trail Purpose

A reliable bright light source during an overnight campout or while traveling the trail is critical. A hands free headlamp allows you to be extra productive by allowing use of both hands. Daytime activites are hard enough but building a fire, setting up shelter, going to the bathroom at night in the dark can be very complicated.

This LED headlamp is ultra bright. It can light up an entire campsite. It has 3 LED bulbs: one large and two small. It has the following modes: flood, spot, flood/spot combo and strobe. When all three bulbs are on it is incredibly bright.

The USB charger makes it compatible with so many charging scenarios. You can even recharge by connecting to a laptop USB port.

Enjoy several modes and features:

• Low, which turns on the middle light only
• Medium, which switches on the two side lights to create a wider glow
• High, which lights up all three bulbs for maximum visibility
• Strobe, which is especially good for catching the attention of rescuers and helpful passers-by when you’re stuck in an emergency situation.

• A headband that you can adjust to fit a variety of head shapes and sizes
• Waterproof wire and a waterproof switch, so you don’t have to worry about spills or sudden showers when you use your LED head light in soggy conditions
• Quality wiring designed to resist the kind of dangerous, inefficient electrical leakage that might shorten your LED head lamp’s lifespan
• Indicator light on the battery compartment to tell you when it is under charging (red light )or fully charged ( green light )
• Don’t worry about bringing batteries with you wherever your LED head light goes: this is a rechargeable head lamp, so just carry your charger along and you’ll be set!

We use this headlamp on most trail outings. It is so bright it lights up the whole trail. The rechargeable functions are such a huge plus.

What We Like

• Bright - We've never used another headlamp with so much output. 
• Modes - When you need it you can use high mode to light up the entire area. When you don't you can go into energy saving mode with the low beam. 
• Water Resistent - We've used ours in the rain and snow without issues.
• Adjustable - The lamp pivots on your head to change the angle.

Tips and Recommendations

• Rechargeable batteries - Recharge the lamp every few outings if you use it regularly. If it is stowed in a go-bag, charge it every few months so it's ready to go.
• Bright, not longlasting - The lamp will last for hours on a single charge but not as long as other options. It's intended for utility not for longevity. Consider having another lamp to use while this one charges.
